NAS 60 Years

In 2022, NAS published a yearbook containing information, stories, and interesting facts from its 60 years of operation. The yearbook was originally intended to be released in conjunction with the NAS conference in Odense in 2020, but due to the COVID pandemic, the conference was postponed to 2022. This led to the decision to release the yearbook digitally as well as at the NAS Annual Meeting in 2021.

NAS Report: Hearing Rehabilitation in the Nordic Countries

Since the 1950s, hearing rehabilitation in the Nordic countries has largely followed shared guidelines, although there are some differences among the countries. To map out the current situation for people with hearing impairments, NAS decided in early 2014 to develop a report on hearing rehabilitation in the Nordic countries.

The work was conducted separately in each Nordic country, based on a set of common questions. Each country appointed either an individual author or a working group to draft their section. This report contains five highly informative reports from the Nordic countries. The documents from each country were developed in various formats.
